We are extremely proud to be a Community Resource Partner, Discount Partner, and Girl Scout Leadership Experience Partner with the Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians.  Our PlayItSafe Defense program is excellent for girl scouts Daisy through Ambassador, their siblings, friends, female adult leaders, and their moms/female guardians.  Girl scouts can earn one of four badges each time they complete one of our classes.  We have an agreement with The Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians for a special Girl Scout discount, so make sure when contacting us that you mention you are a Girl Scout troop and where you are located.  In order to qualify for the reduced tuition we ask that groups in the Greater Knoxville area have a minimum of 10 participants and groups outside of the Greater Knoxville area have a minimum of 20 participants which can include siblings, friends, and female caregivers depending on the class taken.  Adults do not have to stay with their children for the majority of our classes, but it is highly encouraged that they do.  No males are allowed for Ambassador level classes that contain sexual content because it is our experience that girls need their privacy and learn best in female only classes when discussing sexual assault prevention.  Descriptions of our classes and suggested ages can be found below.  Except for the Ambassador level Reduce the Odds Class, all sexual assault prevention will be taught as body sovereignty and appropriate touch.  Please contact us for more information or to book classes.
